Glauchau Student Exchange

This Fall the City of Lynchburg and Sister City of Lynchburg-Plus welcomed a group of 10 students and their teacher Ramona Pohle from Glauchau, Germany. Photo at left of students at Lynchburg Airport.

Reflections from Host Family

The Crawford family hosted one of the exchange students from Glauchau. They shared their reflections on what it was like having Hannes as a part of their family.

Lynchburg Hosts Visitors from Rueil-Malmaison

During the last week of October, Sister City of Lynchburg-Plus welcomed 15 guests from Rueil-Malmaison. Rueil-Malmaison became Lynchburg's first sister city in 1996. Below Lynchburg Mayor Joan Foster with some of our visitors and Sister City members.

Mibuses Visit Glauchau

In September, Manfred and Angela Mibus went to Germany to visit their families and while there paid a visit to our sister city of Glauchau. At left is pictured Manfred (lt) with Thomas Schreiter (rt) and his wife Anett (ctr).
