The Friends of Lynchburg e.V., a group in our sister city Glauchau, Germany, was established to create lasting friendships with the citizens of Lynchburg, Virginia and surrounding areas. The group was formed after initial meetings between Lynchburg and Glauchau paved the way for the two cities to become sister cities.

The Lynchburg Rotary Club has been a constant supporter of Sister City of Lynchburg-Plus since the beginning. Several local Rotarians are members of Sister City and have served in leadership positions as officers and members of the board of directors. We appreciate the support of this fine organization.
The Alliance Française de Lynchburg is a group interested in the promotion of French culture, language, and literature within our community. It is a member of the Federation of Alliances Françaises USA. Through the years, there have been joint activites between this group and Sister City of Lynchburg-Plus.
